🛒 Product Management

Add, update, sell, and remove products with confidence. Stock levels and sales figures stay in step, access is limited to signed-in users, and important actions are recorded for accountability.

What it Does

• Add New Product
  • Enter the product name, price, and quantity (all must be more than zero).
  • Prevents adding the same product twice for your shop.
  • Gives each product an automatic code (PRD0001, PRD0002 …).
  • Marks the item as In Stock and notes the action for your records.
• Edit / Update Product
  • Change the name, price, or stock at any time.
  • Keeps stock levels accurate after updates.
  • When the price changes, past sales figures stay aligned with the new price for consistency.
  • A clear note of what changed is added to your activity history.
• Sell / Remove Stock
  • Enter how many units were sold; the system checks the number is allowed.
  • Available stock decreases and total sold increases automatically.
  • When stock reaches zero, the status switches to Out of Stock.
  • You get a low-stock reminder exactly at 10 units.
  • The sale is added to your activity history.
• Delete Product
  • Removes a product from your list permanently.
  • The removal is added to your activity history.
  • Use with care — this action cannot be undone.
• Product List & Search
  • See all products with their code, price, stock, sold count, and status.
  • Find items quickly using the search bar.
  • Make quick changes, sell items, or remove products right from the list.
• Security
  • Only signed-in users can manage products.
  • Each shop sees only its own data.
  • Anyone not signed in is sent to the sign-in page first.
• Activity History
  • Adding, updating, selling, removing, and low-stock alerts are all recorded so you can review who did what and when.

Key Behaviors

• Product codes are created automatically in order (PRD0001, PRD0002 …).
• Status changes between In Stock and Out of Stock happen automatically as quantities change.
• When you change a price, related figures are kept consistent across past sales.
• A low-stock reminder appears exactly at 10 units to help you restock in time.
